Gabriel Gertsch is a PhD student at the Center for Law & Economics at ETH Zurich. Prior to joining ETH, he was a junior associate in the Banking & Finance practice group of Lenz & Staehelin, a major corporate law firm in Zurich. Previously, he was a research assistant at the KOF Swiss Economic Institute, ETH Zurich, and to Prof. Bernhard Ehrenzeller, Chair for Public Law, at the University of St. Gallen. Gabriel graduated with an M.A. in Law, a B.A. in Law and a B.A. in International Affairs from the University of St. Gallen. He also studied at the University of Geneva and at Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto and has published on various Swiss public law issues. Gabriel’s research interests include behavioral and experimental law and economics, judicial decision-making and legal theory.
